Now Accepting Applications for the Herkimer Region College and Career Scholarship Foundation Awards

Attention CTE seniors! The application window is open now through February 28 - apply soon.

The Herkimer Region College and Career Scholarship Foundation (HRCCSF) offers scholarships to graduating seniors enrolled in Career and Technical Education programs at Herkimer BOCES. 

CTE seniors have two awards they can apply for: 

• The college award is open to students who are majoring in vocational education at Herkimer BOCES and plan to go to college the next school year. Students will receive $1,000 for their freshman year, then, if certain criteria are met, $800 for their sophomore year.  
• The career award is open to students who gain employment in a field related to the CTE class they studied while in high school.  The award provides reimbursement of up to $1,000 for employment-related expenses.
• Additionally, there are several smaller specialty awards with more specific criteria that are given out to those students who qualify, based on their applications.

It is easy to apply: 
Students complete the online form via the links below. They must provide the name and email address of two individuals they would like to complete the appraisal form. The people listed on the application form will recieve the appraisal form to complete via email.  Please note that the first appraisal must be filled out by the student's technical education instructor.  


The deadline for student submissions of these applications will be February 28, 2025.  All CTE eligible seniors are encouraged to apply.
