Exploring the future at Career Day

Central Valley Academy 9th graders explored a world of possibilities in mid-March during a Career Day event at Herkimer College.

More than 40 guest speakers from diverse industries shared insights into their professional journeys, educational requirements, and daily responsibilities. By rotating through various sessions, students gained firsthand knowledge of what it takes to succeed in today’s workforce.

Career exploration is a vital step in helping students bridge the gap between their current education and their future goals.
